CAMEO
CAMEO, a CAZyme Mapping Engine Optimized for HUMAnN, provides a precomputed and validated protein map for carbohydrate-active enzymes and a workflow for building new HUMAnN-compatible protein mapping files.
The project includes utilities for dbCAN-based CAZyme annotation, conversion into HUMAnN-compatible mapping files, and validation against infant gut microbiome metagenomic datasets.
